Kristen Anne Bell is an American actor and singer born in the year 1980. She was born and raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) who is an RN as well as Tom Bell, a television news director. Kristen was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan with an Polish mother and father that was German, English Irish, Scottish as well as Irish. Kristen was already an accomplished performer from a young age. She went to her audition in 1992, and was then offered a role on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was appointed by her mom to become an agent when she was 13 years old. Then, she was cast for newspaper ads and TV commercials. In the same year she began taking classes in acting. Bell was credited with a minor part in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a member of the drama and musical club of Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was staged by her high school, and she was awarded the role as Dorothy. Bell was a student at the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre within New York City. Bell quit the school in 2001, when she landed the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. In 2001, it was also that Bell made her first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). The scene she appeared in has been cut out and only the credits depict her. Bell made her debut in 2002. Bell was in the Broadway revival of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
